This comes from the region outside of Macroom, near the city of Cork, Ireland. The area once held a forest that had revived itself continuously since the Ice Age, but recent flooding has submerged the last dead trunks of its oak trees, creating a still, quiet and rather eerie place in the midst of green hills.
