The Kestrel Maxwell
36" square

I have been experimenting a bit more with poured paint and its bursts of light and color. This element of chance is overlaid, here, with some details from drawings and journals. The title comes from a current re-reading of Iris Murdoch's "The Sovereignty of Good," and its observation that noticing a kestrel in flight can completely change a person's perspective (for the better!).
