The layout comes from an interview with an artist from England, who was speaking in his studio. I loved the pieces of wood overlaying the simple plain background. Two of his paintings faced the camera, and I have replaced them with my own, I am in the process of re-working this painting, to form the foundation for a nude in my "Odalisque Series."
