I still have this painting ... it is one of my husband's favorites. When we lived in Malta, I used only Maltese boat paint, which came in extraordinarily vibrant colors and was very inexpensive; I loved it. This painting was titled after the brightly-colored fishing boats (on our trip there in Fall 2010, we saw that these were still in use). The very steady sunlight never seemed to fade these colors, either....
