My husband made me a Cathar cross out of wood to trace onto paintings, so that I could once again address the French chateaus and images; this series was titled after a woman I was writing about, Adelaide, so it was a combination of the historical facts, my own writing, and traces of a magazine with Italian place names and fashion (which was part of my story as well) collaged behind the images.
