This painting was also shown in Les Bohemes and, as with Landscape-as-drama, it is showing us moving through the landscape. I also refer to Iris Murdoch's story about the "unselfing" that occurs when one sees a sight like a kestrel (see my blog entry in Artist in an A-Frame), and so this is a softer, lighter painting.
