I was looking at graffit'di walls and at the way a tagger and a buffer (the person who comes along to paint over the tag) relate to each other. There is, sometimes, a kind of dialogue between them. This painting was a part of that series, but has been re-worked and is now called "Early Morning, Peonies and Day-Lilies."
