We went to France over many summers. Our first visit included a visit to the dramatic seaside at Biarritz, with the old hotel perched above the cliffs and beach. I found a turn-of-the-century postcard and that became the center of the work, with the sea to one side and the village on the other. (Given to Arise for Social Justice Auction, May 2015).
