Over the winter and spring of 2016, I began working with Emily Dickinson's poetry and images (from sketching in her bedroom in the fall of 2015), creating small drawings & watercolors and using photographs in an iPad painting application. I have been reading critics on her work as well as her poems, and the writers Susan Howe and Helen Vendler have been great inspirations. The resulting series of prints will be shown at the Emily Dickinson Museum on September 1, 2016, as part of the Amherst Art Walk.
