As part of our participation in The Amherst Poetry Festival, Nancy Meagher and I were able to sketch in the poet's bedroom as the new custom-designed wallpaper went up. This is my original painting from the sketches I made, getting down the flow of pattern and color and imagining Emily writing in response to it. This painting will be shown along with the digital prints that make up my Emily Dickinson Museum Show on September 1, 2016.
