Paintings
This series, started just before the coronavirus hit, uses text to help clarify the ideas behind my abstract work. We were visiting my filmmaker son in Los Angeles, talking about Gilles Deleuze, and in a taped interview he discusses Dostoevsky's The Idiot. The central character is rushing to the aid of a woman, time is of the essence, but he keeps stopping along the way to do other things.
