This painting was created with the Essex Art Association's first show of 2020, "Graffiti," in mind. When we lived in San Francisco, we saw a lot of interesting murals and graffiti come and go, and I painted a show called "TAGS," inspired by street the art of San Francisco. I have since painted over this work.
