The Marsh was Too Muddy to Cross
The Marsh was Too Muddy to Cross
Acrylic, collage, pastel, oil stick on wood
30” square
2026

This painting, along with “The Crows Flew Up in a Rush,” is in a series of two. These are based on walks along marshes and beaches here on the Connecticut coast. Walking allows me to see the waves and sand and reeds but also to see and make memories and connections.
