In February, our plum tree began to bloom with bright white blossoms, tinged with pink. It was warm, and sunny, and the blossoms took over. But then, there was a wind, leading up to a rainstorm... and the blossoms flew off the tree... they have gradually been replaced with small reddish-orange leaves, but until that happened, the tree was stark against the redwoods, against the sky.
